  • Description: are suitable for investigating light‐induced charge separation in the primary process of photosynthesis. The orientation of the ring units was determined by NOE and ENDOR measurements on the Zn‐cyclohexylporphyrin and cyclohexylquinone. Detailed MO calculations on Zn‐ and picosecond fluorescence measurements gave satisfactorily consistent rate constants for the electron transfer from the prophyrin to the quinone.
